Word of mouth got me here. Now the work has a home.
I’ve been building trails for 13 years without a website. People in the industry knew the work, and for a long time that was enough. Now it’s time to put it all in one place.
What I do is specialty work, and it covers a lot of ground. It isn’t just driving the machine. I take a trail from the first idea through design, construction and the day it’s ready to ride.
Why I teach everything I know.
A lot of people in this industry gatekeep: they control who gets access to the knowledge so they can keep making money from it. I went the other way.
I work directly with the client and whoever they provide, and I teach them everything. Once we’re all on the same page, we get more done than if they had to rely on me alone. I’m one person, and in a year I might be on six different job sites. When I come back, they’ve been practicing, and we keep going from there.
